Condition
reporting
Either as part of dilapidations or general maintenance, it pays dividends in the long term to have your roof inspected and reported on regularly.
This helps to avoid expensive repairs and help provide the maximum lifespan of the roof.
Our team of experts can undertake roof condition surveys on pitched roofs (slate and tile), flat roofs (any type of covering) and metal roofs of any age. This can involve either invasive or non-invasive check-ups on the general state of the roof and associated details. We’re experts in heritage roofing too: random, stone slates and diminishing courses are all within our skill set.
The results of a condition report will be summarised in a list of recommendations that offer the best and most economical solution for your needs.
We can, if required, utilise specialist equipment such as borescopes, to check the condition of the underlying structure or areas and materials that cannot otherwise be easily inspected, as well as drones to mitigate the risk of working at height where appropriate. Our drone pilots have all the appropriate accreditations and licences.
Clients mostly use our condition reporting service to assist in future budget planning and to avoid costly surprises.
Pricing
All works are priced on an individual basis to ensure best value. Please note that as a large percentage of our work is reporting on disputed installations, it is company policy to only work on the basis of pro forma invoicing and, as such, we do not offer credit terms. In usual circumstances, inspection work is undertaken within a fortnight of receiving cleared funds.
